Tendonitis Pain

Tendonitis is inflammation or irritation of the tendon, which attaches your muscles to your bones. Poor posture, overuse, and repetitive use are some of the major causes of tendonitis. Common examples include tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, patellar tendonitis (below the knee cap), and rotator cuff tendonitis (in the shoulder).

We treat tendonitis through chiropractic adjustments to rebalance and mobilize structures, techniques to lengthen contracted soft tissues, rehabilitation exercises to stretch and strengthen affected muscles, and high power laser therapy to reduce pain and inflammation when appropriate.

If you problem is chronic,i.e., over 6 months, or has come and gone for a long time, we may also recommend shockwave therapy that breaks up old scar tissue to allow the tendon to re heal!

If you are tired of taking dangerous drugs or living with pain, please give us a call! After a thorough evaluation we will explain all of your options.
