Bursitis Pain
We have found that many people get diagnosed with "bursitis" incorrectly. Bursitis is a painful inflammation of a structure called a bursa. A bursa is a fluid filled slippery sac between muscles, tendons and bones that reduces friction when you move. Shoulder and hip bursitis are common and occur when those areas and their muscles, tendons and joints are not functioning properly. A medical doctor will most likely recommend anti-inflammatory drugs or cortisone shots to reduce the inflammation. You may have already tried that and if it worked would not be reading this.
We will determine WHY the inflammation is occurring, fix that and the inflammation will naturally become less or even go away. If you are tired of dangerous drugs or living with pain, give us a call. After a thorough history and exam we will explain your options.
