This product is a dietary supplement for people who have been diagnosed with or are concerned about osteoarthritis which is the most common form of arthiritis and is usually a result of wear and tear or prior trauma. In osteoarthritis the cartilage begins to wear away. Common joints affected are the spine, hands, hips, and knees. Your body continually tries to grow more cartilage as it is the wear surface between your joints. It is the cartilage cells that make cartilage. In osteoarthritis the wear and tear process has exceeded the repair process and the joint slowly wears out. By taking Glucosamine Sulfate, you are giving your body an ingredient which helps it to grow more cartilage. This is a nutritional supplement, not a drug, and if you are not allergic to shellfish you can probably take this product.
This product contains no yeast, wheat gluten, soy protein, milk/dairy, corn, sodium, sugar, starch, artificial coloring, preservatives or flavoring.
